Letter to Tukwila City Council

Dear Councilfolks,

I'm writing to indicate my LACK of support for "surface light rail" through Tukwila. At-grade light rail, at least as designed by Sound Transit, is not only dangerous, it's far more expensive than more modern, elevated transit alternatives. As a concerned citizen, I feel that Sound Transit has not properly explored the commonly available, less expensive, and quicker to implement alternatives to their light rail proposal. I therefore urge you to avoid spending any money or effort to support Sound Transit, unless and until they offer better technology, or at the very least, an elevated solution.
