Sound Transit in Wonderland

Only in the down the rabbit hole fantasy world of "Sound Transit In Wonderland" could the agreement to extend Sounder service to Everett be haled as a great achievement.

What we have is a project that is five (5) years behind schedule with an over 200% ($146 Million) cost overrun providing 1/6 the promised service at 1/2 of the promised stations.

In the real world this is an embarrassing example of incompetence and an abject failure wasting millions of taxpayer dollars.

In "Wonderland" cheerleaders shout "all aboard" and we plunge down the rabbit hole.
