Letter to Sen. Patty Murray

Dear Senator Murray,

Sound Transit's proposed Light Rail project will do a huge disservice to our area!

1. The projected cost is unreasonable per mile (and is likely to be understated as have been all of ST's projections).
2. The gains in public mobility will be minimal.
3. Congestion will be increased, as is inevitable with 31 rail cars traveling back and forth over a 14 mile route through 18 at-grade street crossings.
4. Funding for an effective and coordinated comprehensive traffic and transit plan will be seriously impaired, with such disproportionate high costs being allocated in a fixed rail direction.

Please DO NOT have any role in approval for this project.
